The spring semester at WTS has come to an exhausting close. Bekah (my wife, also a full-time M.Div. student) and I are so thankful to the Lord for his kindness and mercy toward us this semester. Despite my fatigue, this season has been one of richness in studies. I, a weary and wearisome sinner, have been repeatedly, graciously sanctified and refreshed by the Spirit speaking through the Word.

ברוך אדני יום יום יעמס לנו האל ישועתנו סלה

Blessed be the Lord! Day to day he carries us. God is our salvation.

Those words of David in Ps 68.20—of the Spirit of Christ—ring true to God’s people forever and especially for me today.

Now with a little time to breathe, I finally feel able to tally up current donations for the mission to Nairobi. I received $500 from one family member, $210 from another (specifically covering passport renewal and additional needs), $100 from a dear brother in my prayer group at the Seminary, and $100 from a friend and teaching mentor in Mississippi. That is a total of $910! I am overwhelmed by God’s kindness and provision. It has all come exactly as it has been needed.

And the non-monetary support has also been tremendous. I cannot recall all the people who have asked me about my summer and committed to pray for me. Especially touching are the prayers of several of my former students in WTS’s MTE program (for which I am an instructor again this summer).

Please keep me and Bekah in your prayers, and see how you can support the mission.
