I delivered this sermon on 18 July 2021 from Deuteronomy 32.1–43 (“The Song of Moses”).
I meander in meditation on a paragraph from Powlison’s How Does Sanctification Work? and end on a quote from Francis Turretin, of course.
I attempt to draw out the exegetical sensitivity that a dogmatician like Francis Turretin can achieve.
I work through the (lack of) reasons to deny Moses’s authorship of Psalm 90 and a few implications.
I outline some aspects of my sermon-writing process, using my upcoming sermon on Deut 32.1–43 as an example.
